Jodie is one of the supernatural elements in the Amityville House.
Jodie was a imaginary friend of Missy Lutz as suggested by George Lutz. The book added the idea that Jodie was more than a imaginary friend and was a demonic, pig. Amityville Horror (1979 Film) added more to the lore such as it actually being a large pig that could be seen from the windows of the house. Amityville Horror (2005 Film) they revamp Jodie to a daughter of Ronald DeFeo Sr. and Louise DeFeo. It should be noted that the real DeFeo's never had a daughter named Jodie so it's entirely possible she is the remake's incarnation of Allison Defeo.
